All of our cattle are grass fed and grain finished while still on grass. They are raised without the use of added growth hormones, no steroids and no antibiotics. We are confident that grain finishing produces the highest quality of beef for a number of reasons. First, grain finished beef has more flavor. Grains also contribute a layer of fat that improves the marbling in the beef, resulting in more tender and juicer cuts of meat.
Prices listed below are the initial deposit to reserve your beef. Final remaining cost will be determined later according to hanging weight. Hanging weight is the weight of the cow carcass after initial slaughter and processing. It's the weight of the carcass after the hide, head and some organs have been removed. The actual meat you will receive is typically 50% of the hanging weight.)
We will contact you with the hanging weight and will collect the remaining balance at that time and also let you know the date your beef will be ready for pick up
